Learning Environment

Wise Owls is based within a Regency building in the heart of Brighton with an eclectic history. It was the original Buddhist centre in Brighton and the home of  The White Eagle Lodge.

We make the most out of our beautiful learning environment.  Children are able to free flow between our rooms, which include our kitchen, The Nest which is our quiet room, The Alina Garden and the creative Hive. We encourage this independence whilst also planning exciting learning experiences based on our knowledge of the children.

In our Treetops hall, all of the children come together for lunch and afternoon tea. Children also have the opportunity to rest or sleep in The Nap Room surrounded by twinkling stars and the scent of lavender grown in our sensory garden. In The Treetops, we also have The Squirrels and Hedgehogs areas as a space for the younger children to call their own when they feel that they need to have some quiet time.

Within Wise Owls we also have a teaching area for The Bluebirds group who take part in daily discrete teaching sessions in letters, sounds and numbers.
